Stefano Raimondi

Stefano Raimondi (1981) è un critico e curatore  d’arte. È direttore artistico di ArtVerona. Dal 2010 è direttore del network culturale The Blank Contemporary Art con cui organizza annualmente il Festival d’Arte Contemporanea ArtDate e con cui ha curato le mostre personali di Nathalie Djurberg & Hans Berg, Eva & Franco Mattes, Jonas Mekas e Deimantas Narkevičius. È stato Curatore alla GAMeC – Galleria d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea di Bergamo dal 2011 al 2017, istituzione per la quale ha curato mostre personali di artisti internazionali come Cory Arcangel, Rochelle Goldberg, Rashid Johnson, Andrea Mastrovito, Ryan McGinley e Pamela Rosenkranz. Dal 2013 al 2017 ha curato Qui. Enter Atlas – Simposio Internazionale di Curatori Emergenti. Nel 2011 ha co-ideato BACO – Base Arte Contemporanea per la quale ha curato le mostre di Francesco Arena, Riccardo Beretta, Filippo Berta, Ettore Favini, Oscar Giaconia, Daniel Knorr, Jacopo Miliani, Israel Lund, Navid Nuur, Adrian Paci, Dan Rees e Guido Van Der Werve. Dal 2015 al 2017 è stato docente all’Accademia di Belle Arti di Verona. È membro dell’IKT – International Association of Curators of Contemporary Art.

Stefano Raimondi (born 1981) is an art critic and curator. He is the artistic director of Artverona. Since 2010 he has been director of the cultural network The Blank Contemporary Art where he organizes annually the Festival d’Arte Contemporanea Artdate and where he has curated the personal exhibitions of Nathalie Djurberg & Hans Berg, Eva & Franco Mattes, Jonas Mekas and Deimantas Narkevičius. He was Curator at Galleria d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea in Bergamo from 2011 to 2017, an institution for which he curated solo exhibitions of international artists such as Cory Arcangel, Rochelle Goldberg, Rashid Johnson, Andrea Mastrovito, Ryan Mcginley and Pamela Rosenkranz. From 2013 to 2017 he curated Qui. Enter Atlas = International Symposium of Emerging Curators. In 2011 he co-conceived BACO – Base Arte Contemporanea where he curated Francesco Arena, Riccardo Beretta, Filippo Berta, Ettore Favini, Oscar Giaconia, Daniel Knorr, Jacopo Miliani, Israel Lund, Navid Nuur, Adrian Paci, Dan Rees e Guido Van Der Werve’s exibition. From 2015 to 2017 he taught to Accademia di Belle Arti di Verona. He is a member of IKT – International Association of Curators of Contemporary Art.
